An opportunity for the community to learn, screen, and co-design the future of Indigenous heart health research.

The Early Atrial Fibrillation Screening for Indigenous people (EASI) study is hosting a crucial community engagement and screening event at Moorditj Koort. This is more than just an event; it's a vital opportunity to participate directly in community-led research aimed at improving heart health outcomes for Indigenous Australians.

What is Atrial Fibrillation (AF)?

Atrial Fibrillation is the most common heart rhythm disturbance. If left undiagnosed, it significantly increases the risk of stroke. The EASI study is focusing on early, accessible screening to identify and manage AF in our community members.
