Joanne Ryder leads MKAC's Community Services portfolio and oversees a diverse range of programs supporting Aboriginal people, families and Communities.
A qualified Aboriginal Health Practitioner, Joanne brings a deep understanding of the importance of culturally safe, Community-led service delivery. Her leadership focuses on ensuring Aboriginal people can access the right support, at the right time and in the right place.
Joanne oversees programs spanning care coordination, social and emotional wellbeing, family support, community development and service integration. She is a strong advocate for the Aboriginal Health Practitioner workforce and is passionate about growing and supporting Aboriginal staff as a critical component of Closing the Gap and strengthening Aboriginal Community Control.
