A morning of connection, information and women’s wellbeing
Moorditj Koort Aboriginal Corporation was proud to host our Women’s Health Expo in Parmelia on Wednesday 9 September, bringing community members, health organisations and support services together for a morning focused on women’s health and wellbeing.
The expo provided an opportunity to connect, share knowledge, ask questions and access important information to support women’s health across our community.
Connecting community with health and support services
We were proud to welcome a range of organisations and community partners who shared their knowledge, resources and services with attendees.
A heartfelt thank you to our participating organisations:
- Cancer Council Australia
- Diabetes WA
- North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS WA)
- Breast Cancer Care WA
- Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA)
- Neami National
- Derbarl Yerrigan Health Service Aboriginal Corporation
- Wungening Aboriginal Corporation
Their involvement helped create a welcoming space for meaningful conversations, health education and connections to valuable community services.
Thank you to our community
A special thank you to all our partners, staff and community members who contributed to making the Women’s Health Expo a success.
