NDIS Support Coordination

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a Government program created to help you by funding supports associated with your disability.

Moorditj Koort understand the NDIS can be a confusing process and you can be left feeling puzzled. Our Support Coordinators are here to help you navigate this system and make sense of it all.

What is Support Coordination?

The NDIS funds Support Coordination to help participants and their families connect to the appropriate support services.

There are three types of Support Coordination the NDIS funds, and Moorditj Koort offers all three.
Level 1: Support Connection
Level 2: Support Coordination
Level 3: Specialist Support Coordination
Your Plan will tell you which Level you have.

What does a Support Coordinator do, and how does it benefit you?

Our Support Coordinators:
• Help you understand the NDIS and answer any NDIS questions.
• Help you find supports that are right for you.
• Make sure you have a support network that works with you.
• Help you achieve your NDIS goals.
• Recommend supports to NDIS you may need in your next plan.
• Attend NDIS meetings with you, at your request.

How do I know if I have Support Coordination Funding?

Support Coordination is a “capacity building support”. So look for the title Support Coordination in your NDIS Plan. In the description it will be clear what level
of Support Coordination is funded.

If you are still unsure just ask one of our friendly Support Coordinators and we can tell you by looking at your Plan.

What happens if I do not have Support Coordination Funding?

You and/or your support person can discuss a review of your Plan with your NDIS Planner to add Support Coordination.
